Top Dining Apps in Egypt: Q4 2024 Performance Overview

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top dining and restaurant apps in Egypt demonstrated varied performance on the unified platform, combining data from both iOS and Android devices. Here's a closer look at their trends based on data from Sensor Tower.

KFC Egypt - Order Food Online saw a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, starting at around 22.2K at the beginning of October and peaking at 28.1K the following week. However, a decline was observed mid-quarter, reaching a low of 4.9K in early December, before rebounding to 23K by the week of December 23. Active users followed a similar trend, starting from 437.3K and peaking at over 512K mid-October, before falling to 227.3K in early December, and ending the quarter at 294.5K.

McDonald’s experienced consistent growth in weekly downloads, beginning at 10.8K and reaching a peak of 31K by late December. The app's active user base started at 444.5K and saw a dip to 303K by the end of December, despite a temporary increase to 381K in late November.

Heart Attack | Fried Chicken had a notable drop in downloads from 30.6K at the start of the quarter to just 1.4K by the end of December. Active users also declined significantly, starting at 29.7K and dropping to 6.1K.

Buffalo Burger reported a steady increase in active users, beginning at 31.2K and reaching 46K by early December, before ending the quarter at 37.1K. Downloads were more varied, peaking at 8.1K in late October before stabilizing around 3K towards the quarter's end.

Finally, Pizza Hut Egypt-Order Food Now maintained a relatively stable number of active users, averaging around 31K throughout the quarter, with a slight dip in mid-December. Downloads saw a decrease from 4.5K at the start to approximately 2.7K by the end.
